Micro Wedding Photographer for Small & Intimate Weddings

Small weddings are a bit of a soft spot for me. Everyone gets a moment, nobody gets lost in the crowd, and the chat around a table of twenty is just better (I will not be taking questions on this). As a micro wedding photographer across the Gold Coast, Byron Bay, Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, I can actually catch everyone's moment at these, not just the main ones.

so what's a micro wedding?

Usually somewhere between 10 and 50 guests. Bigger than an elopement, smaller than the classic 150 person reception. Just the two of you? Have a look at elopement photography instead.

what a small wedding day looks like with me

Late morning I'm with you while you finish getting ready, usually with a glass of something going around. Early afternoon is the ceremony: a backyard, a restaurant courtyard, a hinterland lawn. Then portraits (short and painless) while your guests get stuck into the canapés.

By late afternoon it's the long table, the speeches and the lunch that accidentally becomes dinner. Restaurants are so good for photos: candlelight, clinking glasses, everyone leaning in.

'The Intimate' was made for exactly this: 6 hours of coverage, $1,590. Six hours usually covers a small wedding nicely, but tell me about your day and I'll be honest about what you need.
