If you're thinking "we're so awkward in photos", you're in very good company. Give it ten minutes.
As a Gold Coast engagement photographer, I keep these relaxed. We go for a wander, I throw in a few silly prompts and you two do the rest. Bonus: by the time your wedding rolls around, we already know each other, and you get familiar with being in front of a camera!
what to expect
About 45 mins. We meet somewhere you love, (or I choose somewhere I love - usually the southern end of the Gold Coast at sunset) I give you direction and then we let things happen! Wear whatever you feel most like yourselves in.
couples photo spots I love
Burleigh Headland at golden hour. Flat Rock Currumbin is another great option, with grassy areas that give your photos a rustic, almost countryside feel, alongside huge sand dunes that can make you feel like you're in a little desert oasis. Kirra Hill for big views up the coast. The hinterland if you'd like something greener. Or somewhere that means something to you two: your local, your favourite walk, the spot where it all started.
